If you weren’t able to make it to the Power House Pub last Friday you missed out on a great show and a great time. And if you were there you know how much fun we had. So here is the night in less than a minute. Enjoy.
Hard to believe….only five days to go for the get together at the Power House Pub. Not only is this going to be a great show, it’s Russ’s 60th birthday. So come on out to party and celebrate Russ’s birthday. See you there.
We now have a link for advance ticket sales. It’s in the sidebar. It would be a good idea to get your tickets online as it is usually very busy at the door…..just like the old days.
This was take at the concert by one of Russ’s biggest fans, his daughter Kate.
They have updated their calendar but it looks like we will have to wait a little while to buy tickets online. As soon as that is updated it will be posted here and linked. Looking forward to this date.
The turnout for the Reunion was just overwhelming. The band is, well, in the words of Bill Horton:
No, not at the local precinct……But at the Power House Pub in Folsom. Due to the great turnout at Thunder Valley the band will be playing September 2nd at the Power House Pub. So mark your calendars and we look forward to another night of classic Rutabaga Rock’n’Roll. They will have tickets online shortly.
These are some more pictures from the concert. Hope you enjoy.
We asked drummer Robert Hudson to tell us about his favorite instruments…
He says, “Back in the early days, I played Gretsch drums, because Charlie Watts played them and he had the best sound then. Today’s drums are a big improvement over what was available in the 1970s and 80s, though. Now I play Ludwig drums with Sabian and Zildjian cymbals. And I love me some congas.”
What if money were no object? “First, an enormous gong, and then some DW drums.”
